Students from the DHSc program excelled in the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences Research Showcase.

DHSc student, Jason Pangelinan was elected President of the Association of United States Affiliated Pacific Islands Laboratories for the Pacific Islands Health Officers Association.

The Doctor of Health Sciences Leadership in Clinical Practice and Education program will be exhibiting at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Inspire 2024 Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida from March 21-23, 2024.

Joyce Maring, EdD, DPT, has been selected to receive the Lucy Blair Service Award from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for her exceptional contributions, involvement, and impact in clinical practice and education pedagogy, as well as the physical therapy profession.

DHSc Alumni, Dhinu J. Jayaseelan, DPT, had an article published by BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders that explores perceptions and the use of clinical pain mechanism assessment strategies by physical therapists managing musculoskeletal pain. 

Joyce Maring, EdD, DPT, will serve as the executive dean at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, following ten years as department chair.
