Pursuit without Pausing

The Doctor of Health Sciences and the clinical practice leadership track aligned with my goals and married all different aspects of my career and my personal life. I wanted to make sure that I'm always staying competitive, so I have career opportunities down the line. I'd love this doctorate to be the springboard to a different space in clinical research.

The program being online was also a major plus for me because it gave me the flexibility to pursue it without pausing.

All of the skill sets from my 9 to 5 really translate over to the research that I've been working on.

Passion but Make it Personal

The beauty of the Doctor of Health Sciences is really creating a research project that is dear to you and submitting that manuscript for publication. I work in biopharmaceutical companies, but I have so many other passions and drives and GW really helped me reach that.

My advisor Dr. Joyce Maring is amazing, and I love meeting with her, and we meet frequently. She understands my research because she works in that space, but she also understands the passion and why it's so important to me.

Collaboration and Conversations

The added element of having Residency Weekends to bring everyone together to brainstorm is incredible. I am surrounded by so many students with different backgrounds, and it adds a lot of wealth to the knowledge. When you're sitting in your office all day long, you're not able to bounce ideas in as fluid of a manner as when you are together.

I love the space here. I love the community. I love that I'm a virtual student.
